[RLUG] data recovery

This may sound harsh but this (a catastrophic disk failure) is what it
usually takes to convince people to back up on a regular basis.  As has
been stated by others, I seriously doubt that you will be able to
recover anything else from the disk, but at least your friend will learn
this valuable lesson.
