[RLUG] Printing problem

Recently re-installed Ubuntu Hoary.
Got virtually everything to work, including VMware!

BUT

When I cannot print in Linux.  The print install routine autodetects my
HP4050 .   I can go through the full install routine, but nothing
prints, even though it says it is printing in the queue.  

Interestingly enough - I can print just fine in VMWare!

Suggestions anyone?

(I'll be gone for a bit - but I'll check back near lunch time.)
