[RLUG] System freeze

My .02 ...

I had a similar issue with my home desktop.

I solved it by turning off the screensaver and running top in 2
terminals (1 sorted by cpu usage and 1 sorted by mem consumption)

The next morning when the pc was locked up top showed who was breaking.
