[RLUG] Samba and Active Directory

Sorry I'm a little late to the Samba Party. At my office here we have 3
Samba servers running 3.x and authenticating users against our AD
Domain. If you get in to trouble feel free to ask me. We had our fair
share of difficulty until we worked the kinks out. 

 

Also, you're free to stop in and we'll happily show you how we did it.

Does anyone have any experience connecting Samba to Windows Active
Directory?  I see walkthroughs all over the place but I really just want
to know if it is worth pursuing - is it too much of a pain?
