[RLUG] Linux on a laptop

Damon,

Laptop installations are considerably easier than they used to be. I do
predict two problems though: wireless card drivers, and video card
drivers. Depending upon your hardware, you should be able to get both
running.

Since you already use LFS, Gentoo is a great choice! Let me know if you
run into problems. Definately check out http://forums.gentoo.org, and
http://gentoo-wiki.com. Actually, the last advise goes for everyone.
There are a lot of Linux problems documented in both locations, and many
of them are not distro specific.
