Unfortunately, all DSL providers around here all have to deal with SBC
to some degree so you'll probably have some problem.  I say this because
phone companies seem to always screw something up, or take forever to
get something done, etc..  This is precisely why I always go with a
smaller DSL provider though; because you can pretty much always rely on
them to deliver good ISP service.  Call me cynical, but I feel lucky
when the phone company gets *anything* right.  I don't use Great Basin,
but I've heard good things about them.  Pyramid.net has done well by so
far.
